Seoul: Doosan Enerbility Co. on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net loss of 21.2 billion won (US$14.9 million), marking a significant shift from a profit of 261.1 billion won recorded in the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company announced in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter reached 142.5 billion won, a decrease from 358.1 billion won a year earlier. Additionally, the company's sales experienced a decline of 8.5 percent, totaling 3.74 trillion won for the quarter.
