KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Significant Declines and Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced mixed movements as several major companies recorded notable changes in their stock prices. Among the gainers, Hyosung Heavy saw a significant increase, with its stock rising by 16,000 to reach 666,000. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced a substantial decrease, with its stock falling by 7,000 to a closing price of 418,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies experiencing gains included Mobis, which saw its stock price rise by 25,500 to close at 279,500, and HDKSOE, which increased by 2,500 to 321,500. On the other hand, notable declines were observed in Hanwha Aerospace, which fell by 25,000 to 880,000, and HD Hyundai Mipo, which dropped by 10,200 to 186,800.

Additional movements in the index included NHIS, which rose by 190 to reach 18,050, and SamaAlum, which decreased by 390 to 19,240. LS experienced a decline of 2,400, bringing its stock to 178,100, while GC Corp saw a rise of 700, closing at 135,000. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. recorded a decrease of 3,500, ending at 170,800, and KPIC's stock fell by 800 to 82,900.

Increases were also noted for companies like YoulchonChem, which fell by 900 to 32,000, and LG Energy Solution, which dropped by 6,000 to 285,000. HtlShilla recorded an increase of 2,000 to 50,300, and Hanmi Science rose by 50 to 37,100. SamsungElecMech saw a decline of 2,000, closing at 130,000, while Hanssem decreased by 200 to 45,050.

F and F's stock fell by 400 to 76,300, and Hanall Biopharma rose by 1,650 to 26,750. Kogas experienced an increase of 1,150, closing at 41,500, while SamsungF and MIns dropped by 1,000 to 444,500. Gains were also observed for Hanwha Solutions and YoungoneHoldings, which increased by 100 and 900, respectively.

Other companies showing increases included OCI Holdings, LS Electric, and KorZinc, which saw their stocks rise by 600, 1,500, and 12,000, respectively. Conversely, SamsungHvyInd experienced a decrease of 100, closing at 16,650, and LG Innotek fell by 1,300 to 148,100.

Additional movements included LOTTE Chemical Corp, which rose by 500 to 61,600, and HMM, which increased by 550 to 22,150. Hyundai WIA's stock rose by 600 to 43,850, while KumhoPetrochem fell by 1,200 to 116,600. S-1 increased by 900 to 70,400, and Hanchem fell by 2,000 to 137,300. DWS experienced a slight decline of 50, closing at 32,100, while KEPCO saw an increase of 1,200, reaching 30,550.
