Seoul: The recent trading session for the KOSPI 200 saw a varied performance among its constituent stocks. Leading the gains was HD Hyundai, whose share price increased by 2,500 to close at 135,100. In contrast, Hanwha Systems and HanjinKal experienced significant declines, with Hanwha Systems dropping by 900 to 50,800 and HanjinKal plummeting by 5,300 to 109,600.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable changes included a rise for Samsung Biologics, which saw its price increase by 1,000 to end at 1,020,000. Meanwhile, Amorepacific faced a decline, with its shares falling by 1,700 to 120,600. SK hynix also experienced a drop, closing at 260,000 after a decrease of 1,500.
The session also highlighted gains for several companies, including Kolon Industries and HanmiPharm, which saw their shares rise by 450 and 2,000, closing at 36,100 and 300,000, respectively. On the other hand, companies such as SK Innovation and Poongsan encountered decreases, with SK Innovation falling by 1,300 to 103,600 and Poongsan decreasing by 1,600 to 118,900.
Other fluctuations were noted for firms like BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group, which enjoyed gains of 340 and 110, closing at 14,680 and 13,970, respectively. Conversely, entities such as Meritz Financial and HD Hyundai Electric suffered declines, with decreases of 1,000 and 4,500, closing at 126,000 and 496,500, respectively.
The trading session reflected a mixed sentiment in the market, with some stocks experiencing upward momentum while others faced downward pressure.
