South Korea: South Korea's consumer prices increased by 2.1 percent in April, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth at the 2 percent level. This rise was driven by an overall increase in the costs of food, industrial goods, energy, and services, as reported by government data on Friday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, consumer prices, which serve as a key measure of inflation, experienced a 2.1 percent increase compared to the same period last year. This increase is primarily attributed to higher prices in agro-fisheries products, industrial goods, as well as utility and service costs.
