Seoul: South Korea's weather forecast for Thursday predicts a mix of heavy rain and sunny conditions across the country's 12 major cities. The temperatures are expected to range from highs of 28 to 33 degrees Celsius and lows of 22 to 27 degrees Celsius, with varying chances of rain.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon are expected to experience rain with a 60% chance, accompanied by temperatures peaking at 29 degrees Celsius and dropping to 23 or 24 degrees. Similarly, Chuncheon will see rain with temperatures between 28 and 22 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, Cheongju, Daejeon, Gangneung, Jeonju, and Gwangju are forecasted to enjoy sunny conditions. Cheongju and Daejeon will have highs of 29 and 30 degrees Celsius respectively, with both cities facing a 60% chance of rain despite the sunshine. Gangneung will see slightly cooler weather with a high of 28 degrees Celsius and a higher chance of rain at 70%.
In contrast, Jeonju and Gwangju will experience warmer temperatures, with highs reaching 33 and 32 degrees Celsius respectively. Both cities will face a 60% possibility of rain despite the sunny forecast.
The southern cities of Jeju, Daegu, and Busan are expected to receive heavy rain. Jeju will see the highest temperatures, ranging from 32 to 27 degrees Celsius. Daegu and Busan will have similar weather conditions, with highs of 31 degrees Celsius and lows of 24 and 26 degrees respectively, accompanied by a 60% chance of heavy rain.
