Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index recorded a series of notable movements as several companies experienced significant fluctuations in their stock prices. Leading the upward trend was HDKSOE, which saw an increase of 11,000 in its stock price, pushing the figure to 422,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also demonstrated positive performance. NCsoft's stock price rose by 3,900, reaching 195,400, while KIWOOM saw an increase of 3,500, closing at 205,500. NAVER continued its upward trajectory, climbing 6,000 to reach 227,000. LGCHEM experienced a substantial rise, with its stock price increasing by 8,000 to close at 278,000.
Meanwhile, several companies faced declines. ShinhanGroup's stock price fell by 1,100, settling at 64,500. Celltrion experienced a decrease of 1,300, bringing its stock price to 170,200. LS ELECTRIC also saw a decline, with its stock price dropping by 1,500 to 291,000. DAEWOONG PHARM's stock price decreased by 1,900, closing at 142,100.
The market fluctuations reflect varied performances across different sectors, indicating dynamic responses to current economic conditions. Other companies such as SamsungElec, DongwonInd, and Hanmi Science also recorded gains, contributing to the overall positive trend of the KOSPI 200 index.
