Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely unchanged across most short-term durations as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month KORIBOR rates all held steady at 3.00% compared to the previous session, indicating stability in short-term lending rates among South Korean banks. This consistency suggests a steady financial environment in the short-term lending market.
Meanwhile, the 6-month KORIBOR rate also remained unchanged at 2.98%. However, there was a slight increase in the 12-month rate, which rose from 2.85% to 2.86%. This minor shift in the 12-month rate reflects a marginal adjustment in the longer-term lending market conditions.
