Seoul: South Korean gamemaker Krafton Inc. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 491.2 billion won (US$338 million), shifting from a loss of 13.2 billion won a year earlier. Operating income for the October-December period was 215.5 billion won, up 31.2 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 15.5 percent to 617.6 billion won.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the operating profit was 10.7 percent lower than the average estimate, based on a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. The estimate of net profit was not available.
