Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely unchanged in the latest update released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-Week KORIBOR stood steady at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. The 1-Month KORIBOR saw a slight decrease, moving from 2.56% to 2.55%. Similarly, the 2-Month rate experienced a minor drop from 2.58% to 2.57%.
The 3-Month KORIBOR also decreased slightly, from 2.60% to 2.59%, while the 6-Month rate remained stable at 2.56%. Interestingly, the 12-Month KORIBOR showed a marginal increase, rising from 2.53% to 2.54%.
These marginal shifts in the rates indicate a period of relative stability in the interbank lending market. The KORIBOR rates are crucial indicators of the cost of borrowing between banks in South Korea and are closely monitored by financial institutions and analysts.
