KOSPI 200 Sees Significant Gains for SK and Samsung Life Amid Mixed Performance

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a notable performance with several companies experiencing gains. SK reported a considerable increase, closing at 180,700, marking an upswing of 17,300. Samsung Life also showed a strong performance with its closing price reaching 108,800, up by 8,900.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Elevator witnessed a significant rise, closing at 81,300, an increase of 5,700. Korea Aerospace also improved, ending at 87,200, up by 3,400. Other companies such as Kumho Tire and Hanon Systems saw modest gains, closing at 4,405 and 3,080, respectively.

DL experienced a substantial gain, closing at 49,900, an increase of 5,500, while Samsung C and T closed at 157,800, up by 6,500. Notably, LG H and H closed at 330,000 with an increase of 7,500. However, among the companies that faced declines, NAVER ended at 185,500, down by 1,000, and Kakao closed at 41,600, a decrease of 1,550.

The day also saw companies like Lotte Shopping and Doosan Enerbility experiencing gains, with closing prices of 79,300 and 42,650, up by 1,700 each. Meanwhile, NCsoft and Coway remained unchanged, closing at 166,500 and 91,100, respectively.
