KOSPI 200 Closes Lower with Majority of Stocks Declining

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a decline as most stocks experienced a decrease in their closing prices. The list of affected companies includes notable names such as DoubleUGames and COSMAX, which ended the trading day at 52,600 won and 226,500 won, respectively, both closing down by 800 and 3,000 won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies like HANATOUR SERVICE and Doosan Bobcat also saw declines, closing at 49,600 won and 54,400 won, down by 500 won each. HL MANDO's shares decreased by 800 won, ending at 33,950 won. Despite the general downward trend, APR saw an increase, closing up by 1,500 won at 225,000 won.

Several other companies followed the downward trend. Netmarble's stock fell by 1,700 won to close at 62,200 won, while HD HYUNDAI dropped 1,400 won, finishing at 150,600 won. KRAFTON and BGF Retail also experienced declines of 4,000 won and 1,700 won, closing at 295,500 won and 106,700 won, respectively.

SKCHEM and HYOSUNG TNC saw decreases in their stock prices, closing at 59,300 won and 214,500 won, down by 1,400 and 3,500 won, respectively. HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC faced a significant drop, closing 18,000 won lower at 569,000 won. HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED and HANILCMT also recorded declines, closing at 181,000 won and 19,190 won, respectively.

Other companies such as ORION, SKBS, and HANWHA SYSTEMS saw their stocks decrease, closing at 103,700 won, 46,800 won, and 57,900 won, respectively. DOOSAN and DL also followed the declining trend, with their shares closing at 551,000 won and 35,850 won, both down from their previous prices.

Despite the overall downturn, KT and G and NAVER managed to rise, closing at 137,600 won and 256,500 won, up by 3,300 won and 2,500 won, respectively. Meanwhile, the stocks of DL E and C, kakaopay, and SKSQUARE closed lower, ending the day at 40,700 won, 53,000 won, and 195,300 won, respectively.
