Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mixed pattern of trading, with some companies experiencing notable increases while others faced declines. Among the companies, Hanwha Systems saw a significant rise, closing at 51,100, an increase of 1,850. Meanwhile, APR also recorded a positive movement, with its stock price up by 5,500, settling at 218,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies like SKCHEM and HYOSUNG TNC also showed upward trends, closing at 61,000 and 223,500, reflecting increases of 500 each. HYOSUNG HEAVY reported a substantial rise of 20,000, closing at 1,135,000. In contrast, LG Energy Solution experienced a decline, with its stock price falling by 5,000 to settle at 372,500.
Additional movements included YoulchonChem, which decreased by 150 to close at 31,900, and SKBS, which fell by 350 to 47,850. There were no changes recorded for WooriFinancialGroup and KakaoBank, both maintaining their previous closing prices of 24,800 and 25,200, respectively.
In the construction sector, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced an increase of 21,500, closing at 472,000. LS saw a decline, dropping by 1,200 to 150,800. Meanwhile, HYBE's stock rose by 5,000, closing at 291,500.
Other significant changes included a reduction for SK ie technology, which fell by 300 to 29,050, and a decline for kakaopay, down by 2,200 to 62,100. F and F saw a rise, closing at 65,600, up by 2,000, while Hanssem experienced a reduction of 550, closing at 43,950.
POSCO Holdings' stock increased by 3,500 to 302,500, while DB INSURANCE fell by 800 to 129,400. Samsung Electronics saw a minor increase of 100, closing at 70,600, whereas NHIS rose by 40 to 18,850.
Other movements included DongwonInd, which increased by 250 to 43,550, and GS Retail, which rose by 60 to 16,660. DN AUTOMOTIVE closed at 24,850, up by 1,100. GC Corp saw a decrease of 700, closing at 130,300, while GS E and C increased by 290, closing at 18,890.
MIRAE ASSET SEC rose by 100 to close at 17,890, while SKC experienced a decline of 800, closing at 96,000. SAMSUNG SDI CO., LTD. fell by 2,000 to 215,500. OTOKI remained unchanged at 383,500, and SamsungElecMech decreased by 1,700 to 154,800.
Lastly, Hanmi Science saw a decline of 300, closing at 40,800, while HtlShilla experienced a minor decrease of 50, closing at 49,000. LS ELECTRIC reported an increase, up by 4,000, closing at 263,500.
