Slight Changes in South Korean Bond Yields Observed

Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed slight movements on the morning of August 21, 2025. The yields for various bonds, including Treasury Bonds (TB) and Monetary Stabilization Bonds (MSB), have experienced small changes.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield slightly decreased to 2.266% from the previous session's 2.267%, marking a change of -0.1 basis points. The 2-year Treasury Bond yield saw an increase to 2.384% from 2.381%, reflecting a change of +0.3 basis points. Similarly, the 3-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 0.3 basis points, moving from 2.441% to 2.444%.

The 10-year Treasury Bond yield remained stable at 2.853%, showing no change from the previous session. Meanwhile, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield decreased by 0.3 basis points, moving from 2.391% to 2.388%. Lastly, the 3-year Corporate Bond (rated AA-) yield showed a minor increase of 0.1 basis points, reaching 2.924% from 2.923%.
