KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Gains in LS Electric and Declines in Hanwha Aerospace

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed results in the recent trading session. Several companies experienced upward movements, while others saw their stock prices decline.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LS Electric saw a significant increase, closing at 293,000, which is up by 2,000. Meanwhile, Hanwha Aerospace experienced a decline, with its shares closing at 920,000, down by 11,000. Among the notable gainers, HDKSOE's shares surged to 428,500, marking an increase of 6,500. OCI Holdings also posted a rise, closing at 92,000, up by 3,700.

On the downside, POSCO FUTURE M faced a decrease, closing at 131,600, down by 3,600. LG Innotek's shares fell by 2,000, ending at 170,500. Other declines were observed in companies like Korea Zinc and KEPCO, whose stocks decreased by 1,000 and 750 respectively.

In contrast, several companies experienced positive shifts. Youngone Holdings, for example, saw its stock rise to 131,700, an increase of 800. Mobis also noted a growth, closing at 323,000, up by 2,500. Additionally, Hyundai Steel's shares increased by 1,450, ending the session at 34,800.

The trading session also recorded some minor gains and losses. S-Oil's shares rose by 100 to 60,600, while Hanmi Science experienced a decrease, closing at 39,300, down by 700. Other small movements included SamsungElecMech, which declined by 200, closing at 178,200, and KumhoPetrochem, which increased by 1,100, reaching 107,800.
