KOSPI 200 Stock Movement Reflects Mixed Performance

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a blended performance with both gains and losses across various companies. Notable changes included NAVER falling by 1,800 to close at 187,500, while COSMAX rose by 5,500 to reach 210,000. Meanwhile, NCsoft experienced a significant downturn, dropping 6,400 to settle at 152,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies observed upward movements. HANATOUR SERVICE increased by 100, finishing at 50,800, and ShinhanGroup saw a rise of 600, closing at 58,100. Conversely, LG H and H saw a decline, falling by 1,500 to end at 326,000, and HYUNDAIGLOVIS decreased by 1,600, closing at 113,400.

Additional movements were recorded within the index, including KIWOOM rising by 2,200 to 162,600 and Hyundai Dept Store climbing 600 to 72,000. On the downside, HANMISemi dropped 2,900, closing at 80,400, and LIG Nex1 decreased by 4,500 to 429,000.

Other notable fluctuations involved KEPCO KPS losing 400, closing at 43,200, while KBFinancialGroup gained 1,600 to finish at 104,300. The mixed results within the KOSPI 200 showcase the varied economic activities impacting these companies, reflecting a complex financial landscape.
