Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks displayed mixed performance on the Korea Stock Exchange as the market closed on Monday. Several companies experienced gains, while others saw declines in their stock prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Daewoong's stocks closed at 19,520 KRW, a decrease of 220 KRW. HITEJINRO observed a decline of 90 KRW to close at 19,130 KRW. On the other hand, Yuhan's stock rose by 1,600 KRW, closing at 120,500 KRW. SLCORP also saw a slight increase, closing at 32,300 KRW, up by 50 KRW.
CJ Logistics experienced a significant gain, with its stock price increasing by 1,900 KRW to close at 96,800 KRW. Conversely, Doosan witnessed a substantial decline of 11,500 KRW, closing at 302,000 KRW. DL's stocks ended the day at 36,000 KRW, marking an increase of 300 KRW.
SamyangFood's stock price fell by 9,000 KRW, ending at 897,000 KRW. Meanwhile, POSCO International's stock saw a rise of 2,200 KRW, closing at 60,800 KRW. CJ CheilJedang and TaekwangInd experienced declines of 3,000 KRW and 23,000 KRW, closing at 259,000 KRW and 786,000 KRW, respectively.
KAL's stocks increased by 50 KRW to close at 24,300 KRW, and LG Corp. saw a rise of 1,200 KRW, ending at 68,200 KRW. KG Mobility experienced a decrease of 45 KRW, closing at 4,710 KRW, while POSCO Future M observed a significant increase of 6,200 KRW, ending at 147,500 KRW.
LOTTE Fine Chem and Hyundai Steel both experienced declines, with their stocks closing at 42,600 KRW and 29,650 KRW, down by 400 KRW and 2,200 KRW, respectively. Shinsegae's stock decreased by 300 KRW, ending at 160,200 KRW. CosmoAM and T, however, saw an increase of 1,150 KRW, closing at 50,500 KRW.
Nongshim's stock fell by 7,500 KRW, closing at 386,500 KRW, while SGBC experienced a decrease of 300 KRW, ending at 71,400 KRW. Samsung Electronics' stock remained unchanged at 53,700 KRW. NHIS's stocks decreased by 240 KRW, closing at 14,610 KRW.
LOTTE's stock rose by 350 KRW, ending the day at 23,700 KRW. GCH Corp and LotteChilsung saw declines of 130 KRW and 500 KRW, closing at 13,950 KRW and 108,000 KRW, respectively. TCC Steel experienced an increase of 900 KRW, closing at 29,450 KRW.
Hyundai Motor's stock went up by 800 KRW, ending at 197,400 KRW, while AmoreG saw a decline of 450 KRW, closing at 21,900 KRW. COSMOCHEM's stock increased by 640 KRW, closing at 19,030 KRW. POSCO Holdings faced a decline of 6,500 KRW, ending at 310,500 KRW.
DB Insurance's stocks rose by 2,100 KRW, closing at 93,600 KRW. SamaAlum and LS each experienced gains of 2,600 KRW, closing at 30,300 KRW and 101,900 KRW, respectively. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a decrease of 7,000 KRW, ending at 308,500 KRW.
GC Corp's stock declined by 1,300 KRW, closing at 128,300 KRW, while HtlShilla saw a decrease of 350 KRW, ending at 39,550 KRW. GS E and C experienced an increase of 220 KRW, closing at 18,610 KRW. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. saw a decline of 2,500 KRW, closing at 216,000 KRW, and KPIC's stock fell by 3,700 KRW, ending at 100,800 KRW.
