Seoul: NCSOFT Corp. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 7.6 billion won (US$5.2 million), turning from a profit of 25.2 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted an operating loss of 129.5 billion won for the October-December period, compared with a profit of 3.9 billion won a year ago. Sales fell 6.5 percent to 409.4 billion won.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the loss was 89.1 percent lower than the average estimate, based on a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
