S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Slight Decline Across Most Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed a decrease in most categories on the morning of October 22, 2025. The decline was observed across various terms, with the 10-year Treasury Bond experiencing the most significant drop.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield fell to 2.319% from 2.321%, marking a 0.2 basis point decrease. The 2-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 0.9 basis points, settling at 2.532% compared to the previous session's 2.541%. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield saw a reduction of 1.3 basis points, moving from 2.600% to 2.587%. Notably, the 10-year Treasury Bond yield dropped by 1.8 basis points, from 2.904% to 2.886%.

The report also highlighted that the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield remained unchanged at 2.524%. Meanwhile, the 3-year Corporate Bond with an AA- rating showed a slight decrease of 1.1 basis points, changing from 3.024% to 3.013%.
