Ssangyong E&C Secures 320 Billion-Won Contract for Dubai Office Tower

Dubai: Ssangyong Engineering and Construction Co. announced it has secured a 320 billion-won (US$ 222.6 million) contract to construct a premium office building in Dubai. The project, commissioned by the Dubai International Financial Centre, will see the development of a 36-story office tower in the city. The building will encompass a total floor area of 114,474 square meters, featuring three underground levels and 36 above-ground floors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the project will be executed solely by the South Korean builder, marking an expansion of its client base in Dubai. Ssangyong E and C has previously worked with notable clients in Dubai, including the Investment Corporation of Dubai, Wasl, and Emmar Properties. The company's history of delivering high-quality construction projects in Dubai played a significant role in securing this contract.

A representative from Ssangyong expressed confidence in the company's ability to leverage its expertise in premium architecture for future growth in high-end construction projects. The official stated that their established track record in the region was instrumental in winning this prestigious project.
