Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index closed on Thursday with a mix of gains and losses across different sectors. Several companies experienced notable price changes, reflecting varied investor sentiments on the main Korea Stock Exchange.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Electric emerged as a standout performer, closing at 585,000 KRW, marking an impressive increase of 25,000 KRW. Other significant gainers included SKSQUARE, which rose by 7,800 KRW to reach 182,100 KRW, and Hyosung TNC, which climbed by 4,000 KRW to 224,500 KRW. LG Energy Solution also saw a substantial rise, closing at 350,000 KRW, up by 9,500 KRW.
Conversely, some stocks experienced declines. HYBE dropped by 6,000 KRW to finish at 285,500 KRW, while Hanwha fell by 1,900 KRW, closing at 86,600 KRW. Additionally, HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a decrease of 7,000 KRW, ending the day at 1,386,000 KRW.
Overall, the session reflected a mixed market with both positive and negative movements among KOSPI 200 stocks, highlighting the ongoing volatility in the financial markets.
