Seoul: NHN Corp., a South Korean information technology and game company, on Tuesday reported its second-quarter net income of 11.2 billion won (US$8.1 million), marking an increase of 142.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the April-June period experienced a decline of 23 percent year-on-year, settling at 21.9 billion won. Despite this drop in operating profit, the company's sales saw a modest rise of 0.9 percent, reaching a total of 604.9 billion won.
